2022: A year in review.

Dear Friends,

Saying goodbye tonight to year 2022, I feel both happy and nostalgic. This was the second full year of my journey as a FREDERIKA GALERIE founder. I am very proud to develop my small business organically, step by step and exactly as I’ve dreamed about. From having my career as a creative industry enterpreneur, a passionate mid-century design and art collector, to making up a decision to develop my own personal brand (finally) and go global, took me some fifteen years (giving birth to three kids inbetween ;-)

Today, I am so grateful for these last two years, full of authentic satisfaction and joy. Hard work, ups and downs too, learning new things, but all so much rewarding! Following my intuition was the best decision to take.

New York, Feb 2022. Working on frederikagalerie.com concepts.

May 2022. New visual identity and branding materials.

The 2022 was full of meaningful milestones at FREDERIKA GALERIE. It went online in November after a few months of hard work on planning, creating and executing. I have successfully implemented my new visual identity and branding. My signature label Frederika Craft Studio was launched and is growing rapidly. I made wonderful partnerships with my gorgeous international community of artist, had inspiring trips to NY, Paris, Amsterdam, Sicily and Umbria, curated and launched a dozen of collections, shipped out tones of parcels all around the globe and produced hundreds of digital materials from creative concept, styling to photography and filming.

April 2022. Curating art for FREDERIKA GALERIE.

June 2022. Photoshooting and editing pictures was my jam in 2022, too.

Foremost, the most wonderful moment is to see my curation in your homes! Thank you so much for making this journey possible!

But this wonderful success story had another dramatic face this year too. My NY business trip in February was brutally interrupted by a Russian attack on Ukraine, and I had to return immediately to my family located in Poland. I’ve postponed all business deadlines and together with my husband and friends we’ve organised humanitarian rescue for women with children from the Polish-Ukraine border and delivered medical aid for Kiev hospitals. These were very tough moments and I would like to thank you so much again for all of the support I have received from you those days! Our humanitarian activities wouldn't be possible without your generous donations and my artists support (who donated their artworks on auctions).

This shows me even more, how fragile our plans can be, and how important it is to surround with good people, cherish the valuable relations and be grateful of every little moment and achievement.

So if you get to the bottom of this long letter, I am so grateful for you. Wishing you a wonderful year of following your intuition, values and inner spirit.

Cheers!
