Tomek Opalinski: A visual poet of ordinary.

Born in 1993, Warsaw-based graphic artist Tomek Opalinski graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

Humans, animals and plants take a leading role in the art of Opalinski, though not always in the most expected ways. In some works, it’s a deconstructed figure. In others, the body in the move or pose. Entwined hands and corps seem remained in emotional dialogue with each other.

A goat, a tomato, a fish, a boy… Opalinski is a visual poet of ordinary. A game of intimate illustration takes place, in search of the perfect balance in form, colour and composition.
